Honor Metal European Project Update: 15–16t/h Shaft Melting Furnace and 8t Holding Furnace Shipped, 7.5T Al (Alloy) CCR Line in Final Stage

Honor Metal has recently completed the packing and shipment of a 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace and 8t holding furnace to a European customer. The furnace system passed factory acceptance smoothly, and the customer expressed high satisfaction with the equipment quality, manufacturing standard, and automation configuration. The successful delivery highlights Honor Metal’s strong capability in supplying complete furnace systems for international Metal Processing projects.

Integrated Copper Melting And Holding Furnace Solutions

The delivered equipment is designed as copper melting and holding furnace solutions for copper rod manufacturers, copper smelting plants, and Metal Processing projects. The complete system consists of one 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace and one 8t holding furnace, providing a stable, continuous, and high-efficiency molten copper supply for various copper melting, holding, and Metal Processing applications, especially continuous copper rod production.

The 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace is designed for efficient melting of cathode copper plates, with a stable output of 15–16 tons per hour. It achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 60%, with natural gas consumption of approximately 32 m³ per ton. The furnace supports both NG (natural gas) and LPG fuels, offering flexible energy options for different regions. Thanks to optimized refractory design, only partial repair or lining maintenance is required every 3–5 years under normal operating conditions, ensuring long service life and reduced maintenance costs.

The 8t holding furnace is responsible for molten copper holding and transfer. It features a hydraulic tilting design that ensures safe, smooth, and easy operation. Under normal production conditions, natural gas consumption is approximately 3 m³ per ton, improving energy efficiency and ensuring stable molten copper management in continuous production.

The complete 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace and 8t holding furnace system is equipped with a SIEMENS S7-1200 PLC, a Siemens HMI, and Schneider low-voltage electrical components, ensuring precise control, stable operation, and high industrial reliability.

7.5T Al (Alloy) CCR Line Approaching Delivery

In parallel with the furnace system delivery, the customer’s 7.5T Al (alloy) CCR line has entered its final finishing and inspection stage and will soon be packed for shipment. The 7.5T Al (alloy) CCR line is equipped with Siemens AC motors and a full SCADA system, enabling efficient, precise, and intelligent operation for aluminum and alloy metal processing projects.

By delivering both the 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace and 8t holding furnace and the 7.5T Al (alloy) CCR line within the same project schedule, Honor Metal once again demonstrates its strong capabilities in system integration, project coordination, and global project execution.
