Honor Metal Engineers Arrive On-Site for 15–16t/h Shaft Melting Furnace + 8t Holding Furnace Installation

Honor Metal’s latest 15–16t/h shaft melting furnace + 8t holding furnace project has officially entered the installation stage. The complete furnace system has arrived at the customer site, and Honor Metal engineers have already arrived on site for installation and equipment inspection. After arrival, the team completed equipment checking and inventory confirmation to ensure all parts were delivered correctly and ready for installation. Thanks to the customer’s preparation, foundation work was completed in advance, allowing smooth progress of installation work.

Before engineers were sent out, Honor Metal prepared a clear installation plan and commissioning plan to ensure smooth project execution. A project manager(also as translator) is on site to support communication and management. Daily reports are shared with both sides, including installation progress, construction status, and required support. A strict project tracking system is used to ensure the project stays on schedule and risks are controlled.

The system includes: Feeding system; 15–16t/h shaft Melting Furnace; Launders; 8t holding furnace etc. This system is used for copper melting and continuous copper rod production, providing stable molten copper supply for the production process.

The shaft Melting Furnace is used for melting copper cathode plates, with stable output and low energy consumption. The holding furnace is used for keeping molten copper temperature stable and feeding the casting process continuously. The furnace adopts an optimized refractory structure design, allowing only partial repair or lining maintenance every 3–5 years under normal operating conditions. This greatly reduces maintenance costs and extends furnace service life.

The system uses Siemens PLC control system, Siemens HMI, and Schneider electrical components, ensuring stable operation and easy control.

The related CCR production line equipment such as Casting Machine, rolling mill has also arrived at the customer port. The customer is currently preparing the foundation work for the upcoming installation of the continuous casting and rolling line. More updates on installation and commissioning will follow soon.
