A Proven Industrial Solution: Honor Metal’s High-Efficiency Melting System for Aluminum Rod Production
The 40T Melting Furnace + 2*25T holding furnaceshigh-capacity melting furnace/holding furnace for aluminum alloy processing developed by Honor Metal is engineered for aluminum rod manufacturers, metal smelting plants, and aluminum processing plants. This complete system—consisting of a rectangular tilting Aluminum Melting Furnace and two circular tilting aluminum holding furnaces—is designed to provide stable, high-efficiency molten aluminum supply for the production of 6021 alloy aluminum rods and standard aluminum rods. As one of Honor Metal’s flagship products, this system has become a preferred solution across the aluminum melting and aluminum rod production industries.

The 40T furnace+2*25T holding furnaces system uses four regenerative burners with a total power output of 8000kW and a gas flow rate of 305 Nm³/h. The burners operate in an alternating cycle, using exhaust heat to preheat combustion air, significantly improving combustion efficiency and reducing energy consumption. The aluminum Melting Furnace provides a melting rate of ≥12 t/h, with LPG consumption ≤21 Nm³/t-Al and electricity consumption ≤10 kWh/t, making it highly competitive for aluminum rod manufacturers, metal smelting plants, and large-scale aluminum melting factories.
The high-capacity melting furnace/holding furnace for aluminum alloy processing is constructed entirely with castable materials, including non-wetting castables, anti-seepage structures, insulation bricks, and ceramic fiber materials. The lining life reaches ≥5 years (excluding wear parts). A large furnace door and slag-removal slope enable efficient mechanical skimming, making the system suitable for continuous heavy-duty operation in high-capacity metal smelting plants.
Honor Metal equips the 40T furnace+2*25T holding furnaces with a SIEMENS S7-1500 PLC, a 12-inch Siemens HMI, an IP54 electrical cabinet, and Schneider low-voltage components to ensure high-precision, stable, and safe system operation. Noise levels remain ≤85 dB, making the system ideal for long-term industrial use.
In November of this year, Honor Metal successfully completed the installation and commissioning of an identical 40T furnace+2*25T holding furnaces system in Europe. The commissioning process was smooth, and the customer praised the melting performance, holding stability, and energy efficiency.
