

With the continuous development of the application of aluminum materials, the requirements for its inherent quality are becoming higher and higher. The key to ensure the quality of aluminum materials is clean aluminum molten liquid.
Among the factors affecting the purity of aluminum liquid, the precipitation of hydrogen in aluminum liquid during solidification will lead to porosity and other defects, which not only destroys the internal continuity of aluminum, reduces the effective cross-sectional area, but also is the source of cracks.
Therefore, degassing plays an important role in the production of high-quality aluminum.
The launder type online rotating degassing unit is installed between the furnace and the casting machine along the length direction of the launder, and the degassing area is divided into several stages by a baffle to realize multi-stage online degassing and improve the degassing efficiency. The submersible baffle and insulation cover are used to form a closed space to prevent air from entering the degassing chamber, effectively reducing the suction and surface oxidation of aluminum liquid.
◆ The degassing efficiency is high, up to 40%. Multi-zone continuous degassing is adopted to increase the contact area and time between bubbles and aluminum liquid. The overall sealing of the box ensures that the top forms an inert space with the aluminum liquid surface during the casting process, prevents producing more oxidation slag due to liquid oxygenation of aluminum, prevents secondary pollution, and improves the degassing efficiency.
◆ The use of launder for degassing can reduce the residual aluminum liquid and metal loss, lower maintenance costs, and make the launder replacement convenient and fast.
◆ Easy to switch alloys quickly. Since there is no heating device and no deep box, most of the degassed aluminum liquid is made into products at the end of each casting. The remaining aluminum liquid in the degassing chute can be easily cleaned, which facilitates the rapid switching of alloys.
◆ It is especially suitable for semi-continuous casting production lines such as casting rod and recycled aluminum ingot. The alloy of this kind of casting process is changed frequently, and the requirement of hydrogen removal is not high.
