Introduction

This advanced production line specializes in manufacturing round aluminum rods and aluminum alloy rods specifically designed for electrical applications. It achieves this through the sophisticated method of continuous casting and rolling technology.

The line is capable of producing finished aluminum rods in three precise diameters: Φ9.5mm, Φ12.5mm, and Φ15mm.

Production Process

Aluminum ingot/molten aluminum → batching → refining → slag removal → stewing → online refining → filtration → continuous casting → power straightening → traction → cut → casting blank transition support device → induction heating device (the heating furnace includes a closed cooling device, which is optional) → rough rolling → finish rolling → aluminum/aluminum alloy rods.

The horizontal continuous casting process ensures smooth casting of molten aluminum while reducing slag generation drastically. The induction heater successfully maintains the process temperature required for rolling in addition to burning and controlling the cast billet.

Active feeding and rod stacking parking are two potential uses for the continuous rolling mill. The continuous quenching apparatus has the capability of online quenching. In order to remove surface moisture from aluminum and aluminum alloy rods, a water blowing mechanism is put at the take-up conduit's outlet. An active traction system is installed concurrently to enable the smooth export of aluminum/aluminum alloy rods.

The arc guide tube has a roller guide structure to reduce the surface abrasion of the aluminum/aluminum alloy rods. The rod is wound using the centrifugal shaking head method. Pre-deforming the aluminum/aluminum alloy rods before to their entry into the take-up frame is one possibility. In the event that the rods break during rolling, the rod tails can be automatically positioned in the wire take-up frame. The rods are not disturbed when the bobbins are changed to guarantee that the continuous double-bobbin coiler mechanism is used for winding up.
